Where will we be fishing?

Based on the location of the fish, X-Stream will troll anywhere from the Kenosha to the Racine shores as far as 10 – 15 miles out.

What do I need to bring on an X-STREAM sport fishing charter?

All your fishing equipment – rods, reels, lures and tackle – will be supplied. You will need a valid Wisconsin Fishing License and a Lake Michigan Salmon Stamp.

In addition you should bring:

  • Sweatshirt, jacket or pants as it can be 20-30 degrees cooler out on Lake Michigan
  • Rain coat, if necessary
  • Soft-soled shoes, like tennis shoes
  • Food & beverages (No bananas!)
  • Camera
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen or tanning lotion

Where can I get a Fishing License?

Anyone 16 years or older must have a valid Wisconsin fishing license. They are available to purchase on the X-Stream. A one day license for Wisconsin is $14.00. You can also buy a Wisconsin Fishing License at sporting goods stores and at many of the nearby bait shops.

What is the season for sport fishing?

We typically schedule charter fishing excursions from April through October.

What if the weather is bad the day of our fishing charter?

Be prepared with your rain gear because we do fish in inclement weather. Captain Dave will monitor the conditions closely and if there is a chance the trip has to be postponed he will notify you as soon as possible.

Is there a bathroom on the X-STREAM?

Yes, there is a clean, private bathroom on board.
